Golden Vibras x Euphoria Market
For Jen Medina, launching Golden Vibras wasn’t just about selling jewelry — it was about embracing personal style and making the wearers feel like they can’t be stopped! Though she officially launched her business in 2022, the idea had been lingering since 2020. She had all the tools ready — a website and startup essentials — but fear of failure and judgment was a constant roadblock.
“I always knew I wanted to be a business owner, but I didn’t know exactly what,” she shares. Then, a memory sparked an idea: her mother’s jewelry side hustle. Combining her love for fashion with that early influence, Jen decided to create a brand centered around high-quality, versatile jewelry designed for layering and everyday wear.
Despite initial hesitation, her husband’s [Yonis Guevara] encouragement and the unwavering support of close friends pushed her to take the leap to explore her potential. When she finally launched, the response was overwhelming. “The support has been so fulfilling and gives me the courage to keep going,” she says.
Starting out, Jen relied on instincts and self-research, spending hours after her 9-to-5 job on YouTube and Google, figuring things out on her own. Over time, she learned that while gut instinct is essential, seeking help and advice is just as valuable as trusting yourself.
“Just start” is Jen’s biggest recommendation when it comes to starting a business. The hardest part is taking the first step and following up with consistency. Everything else falls into place once you do. “Go after your dreams and never give up.” And as a Latina business owner, Jen hopes to show others that nothing is out of reach. “If I can do it, you can too.”
