At just 21 years old, Virginia native Antonio Ortez, aka Boni, embarked on a journey that would redefine the narrative of his life and community. While working the overnight shifts at UPS and the whirlwind of becoming a new father, Boni felt that his social sphere was dwindling. "I felt myself getting dumber," he confessed, reminiscing about the days when creative ventures with his friends fueled his passion.

Fueled to reignite the spark of creativity, Boni launched The World is Yours podcast in March 2021. Armed with only a smartphone, budget Amazon tripods, and a handful of ring lights, he transformed his humble basement into a makeshift studio. Eager to uncover the untold stories of local trailblazers, he began interviewing individuals making waves within their communities.

"Major cities have their podcasts, but I feel like there’s an empty space here in the DMV," Boni mused, articulating his vision for The World is Yours to become the platform amplifying unheard voices.
