On December 15, 2024, No Soap Radio celebrated their 10-year anniversary with a packed-out performance at GONZO’s on St. Marks Place, NYC. The indie rock band, Erica Lynch (lead singer), Drew Coll (guitarist), Riley Coll (bassist), Jay Blezow (guitarist), and Jake Rubenstein (drummer) has grown from a casual group in 2014 to a powerhouse of sound and creativity.

During the milestone concert, the group performed favorites like Framed and Advice, an unreleased track, Taking My Time, and tracks from the rest of their discography, celebrating a journey shaped by collaboration and evolution.

“Starting so young, we’ve grown as individuals and as a band,” Drew reflected. “Our creative process now feels more cohesive, more authentic.” Erica added, “Writing together is special. It’s hard to imagine doing it with anyone else.”

For Drew, No Soap Radio is more than a band. It’s his primary creative outlet. His late-night inspirations often lead to near-complete demos shared with his bandmates at 4 a.m. “We focus on the music,” Erica noted. “We write what we like, what sounds good to us. That’s what we’re doing now.”

Inspired by a childhood joke, their name [No Soap Radio] mirrors their spontaneous, lighthearted approach to creating music. Their discography, spanning hits like Gloom Specialist, 33 1/3, Next 2 U, and Wayback Machine, offers something for everyone.
