Dieglo x Euphoria Market
Every artist’s journey requires a moment of instinct, a pull toward creativity that defies structure. For Dieglo, that instinct became a way of life. The born artist transformed his artistic alter ego into a thriving brand built on raw passion, graffiti roots, and relentless dedication.
“I always knew how to draw,” Dieglo recalls. “I didn’t want anyone to teach me how to be creative. That’s something you’re born with.” His path wasn’t paved by textbooks or traditional schooling. College lasted just a week and a half before he trusted his gut, took his financial aid money, and invested in his craft instead. That gamble quickly turned a side hustle into a full-time career.
Art, for Dieglo, started by tagging city walls with work he couldn’t sign with his real name. Over time, his instinct sharpened, evolving from impulsive strokes to deliberate, calculated moves. “I used to need smoking and drinking to create,” he admits. “But now, I’m 600 days sober. I take care of myself. I plan. I coordinate. I make sure everything makes sense.”
Still, creativity remains his guiding force. “Gut feeling in business? That’s 50/50,” he says. “But gut feeling in art? That’s everything.” His advice for aspiring artists? “Consistency. Without it, you’re just a person with a talented hobby.”
Dieglo’s journey proves that trusting your instincts can lead to unexpected success, but consistency keeps the dream alive. His work is more than just visuals, it’s a story of evolution, discipline, and an unwavering passion for self-expression.
“The Brain” is a piece I made for my “Still Unemployed” solo show in D.C.. It depicts the silent battles I was going through at the time. The feelings and difficulties of just being; just a functioning artist brain full of color and thinks to be thought. - Dieglo
Catch Dieglo in action on Saturday, March 1, at HOMME DC, where he’ll be live airbrushing and screen printing from 5-9 PM. Don’t miss it.
